Robert W. Cameron

Bob Cameron received his law degree from the University of Victoria in 1990. He was a recipient of the Robertson Ward Suderman Scholarship and articled at a national firm, Lang Michener Lawrence & Shaw, Vancouver from 1990-1991. He subsequently moved to New Zealand, where he completed his Masters of Jurisprudence with Distinction (a postgraduate degree in Law) and lectured at the University of Auckland, Law School.
Bob has been practicing exclusively in the area of complex injury litigation for over 20 years and started his own law firm in 2004. He represents people who have meritorious claims for compensation as a result of bodily injury. His father, Dr. G. Stuart Cameron has been a respected Neurosurgeon in Victoria since 1973. Bob has appeared in all levels of court and has achieved notable results in cases involving professional athletes and complex brain and psychiatric injury.
Bob pursued his passion for bicycle road and track racing in New Zealand, North America, and Belgium, from 1992 to 1995. He continues racing recreationally to the present. He is a multiple Provincial and National medalist. He won a Canadian National Championship in the Olympic Sprint in 1996. Due to his lifelong involvement in rugby, skiing, mountaineering and high-level bicycle racing he has sustained numerous orthopedic injuries requiring multiple surgeries, which provides him with a unique empathy and medical perspective when advocating for injured clients.
He and his law firm have been tremendous supporters of the Victoria community. Robert W. Cameron Law Corporation has been the title sponsor of the top cycling event on Vancouver Island for 7 years. The firm has also sponsored multiple cycling, running, triathlon and other athletic events, individuals and teams. Bob is currently on the Board of Directors for PISE (Pacific Institute for Sports Excellence) and is a past Director for Tyee Aquatic Swim Club. He is a frequent lecturer for TLABC and the West Coast School of Massage Therapy. He has also lectured at University Law School and at Medical/Orthopaedic Continuing Medical Education seminars. Bob is also a cycling and sports advocate and sponsor of the Bike Sense Manual. He has represented numerous athletes in carding, doping, and national team selection disputes.
He is supported by his wife, Heather and three beautiful children, Stuart, Georgia and Sarah, and greatly inspired by the courage of his clients.

Noelle Mason

Noelle graduated from the UBC Faculty of Law in 2006. She completed her articles with Donaldson Jetté, a prominent Vancouver criminal defense firm, and was called to the British Columbia bar in 2007. In 2008, Noelle joined Bob at Robert W. Cameron Law Corporation in Victoria and shifted her focus to representing people who have been injured. Noelle brings a wealth of life experience to her practice, which helps her to understand the challenges that her clients face when they are injured. ![]() Celeste After receiving an Associate of Arts degree in Criminology and a Diploma in Criminal Justice, Celeste completed her paralegal certificate specializing in civil litigation in 2002. She began working in law offices in 1991 and has been with Robert W. Cameron Law since 2009. She is a dog lover and an avid runner having competed in many events, including the Royal Victoria Marathon, the BMO Vancouver Marathon, many half marathons and several of the Vancouver Island Runners’ Association island series races since 2001. Kristina Kristina completed the Legal Office Assistant program at Camosun College in 2008 and began working in insurance defence law as a legal assistant shortly after. She considered law school but opted to continue working full time and taking the paralegal program at Capilano University. She received her Paralegal Diploma from Capilano University in 2013 and has worked in plaintiff personal injury law as a paralegal ever since. |
